FlowSearch is a privacy-respecting search engine built into the Flow Ecosystem, available at search.flowchats.org.

Overview​

FlowSearch combines a SearXNG-powered metasearch backend with a custom frontend, styled to match FlowChat, and adds an AI-generated answer summary above the results.

AI Answer Box​

  • Summary Above Results: A Perplexity-style answer sits above your search results — concise, sourced, with inline citations.
  • Generated from Top Results: The summary is built from the most relevant results for your query, not a separate AI call.

Autocomplete​

  • Suggestions as You Type: Search suggestions appear in real time, helping you refine your query before hitting search.

Flow Apps Result Cards​

  • Integrated App Results: Results relevant to FlowChat, FlowMovies, and FlowWeather surface as distinct cards rather than plain links.
  • Contextual Shortcuts: Jump directly into a Flow app from a search result without navigating away.

Privacy-First​

  • No Query Tracking: Built on SearXNG, FlowSearch doesn't log your searches or build an advertising profile.
  • No Account Required: Search is available without signing in.
